I'm on blogger platform for a fairly short amount of time, under one year. Today will share with you a few details about who is reading my blog. I am honoured to see my audience comes from various countries like:

What about the gender of my audience?
It seems, according to statistics, that majority are male readers. This was a little shocking for me, I was really expecting more women/mother readers, but is only at the beginning, for sure the balance will soon take its course. Is only a 6 months old blog, wait till it reaches 'toddler' age:)

    Sper din toata inima sa imi vezi mesajul si sa ma ajuti cu cateva sfaturi... Urmeaza sa ma mut in ianuarie pentru un job pe care l-am primit in Brno. Spune-mi, te rog, de ce se practica inchiriatul fara mobila? Ce face chiriasul in acest caz?
    Care sunt costurile realiste la utilitati ptr o persoana? Pe site-uri am vazut ca variaza intre 2500 si 4000 de coroane...

      Buna Simona si felicitari pentru decizia de a te muta aici. Bine ai venit!
      Inchiriatul fara mobila este des intalnit pentru ca e mai comod pentru proprietari dar si din cauza ca sunt multi care doresc fara mobila. Noi din primul an am ales fara mobila si incet am cumparat tot. Chiriile nemobilate sunt si mai ieftine de obicei, chiriasul fiind responsabil sa isi cumpere mobila. Legat de gasitul mobilei, trebuie sa stii ca e destul de usor sa gasesti mobila aici - ieftina si de calitate - ori noua (la marile magazine gen IKEA, KIKA, ASKO, JYSK sunt in Brno) / ori 2nd hand de la alti chiriasi, straini care se muta (este in Brno un flux continuu de plecari veniri, multi straini, studenti se muta, vin ori please spre alte orase / tari si isi dau mobila, saltele, ustensile de bucatarie la preturi mici spre gratis. Asa ca ai de unde alege - sunt multe grupuri de vanzari-cumparari de astfel de lucruri pe Facebook (iti pot face o lista si cauti acolo tot ce ai de nevoie de la pat, cana pea pana al linguri si farfurii, haine, bilete de concert, orice vand pe aici comunitatea de xpati, oameni ca noi, angajati la corporatii, ori stundeti). Voi face probabil o postare separata doar despre acest subiect, daca crezi ca ar ajuta.
      Costurile gasite de tine da sunt realiste: intre 2000-4000 czk / persoana, recalcularea se face anual si primesti inapoi sau platesti extra daca ai depasit aceasta suma, precalculata lunar.
      Cred ca poti gasi si destule oferte de chirii mobilate, nu ar trebui sa fie o problema. Sper sa reusesti sa rezolvi si nu ezita oricand sa imi trimiti orice intrebari. Numai bine!

    Iti multumesc mult pentru raspuns si sfaturi! Nu iti poti imagina cat de mult ma bucur ca ti-am gasit blogul!!! Ar fi super daca ai face o postare despre grupurile unde s-ar vinde mobilier... Multumesc! Simona

So, you washed your IKEA cover mattress despite the clear instruction on the label to not do it. Well, I did it because...I have a toddler and had to try and save it. I also washed the cover in a 3h program on 50 degrees Celsius. it did not shrink but I had a very hard time putting it back on. I would do it just once in a mattress' lifetime and only if necessary. List of English Speaking Doctors in Brno

I have put together a list of English speaking doctors for Brno area, in hopes it might help expats to find the help they need easily. Most of the doctor professionals bellow are recommended from own experience, for few specialties I had to gather the links from other friends' or expats' recommendations, as some do not accept anymore new patients (like for ex.: my gynecologist, dentist). Urology: Surgal Clinic  -  MUDr. Jan Králík . Private clinic but, as most in this country, it helps and accepts also public insured citizens.
